Every link to Amazon on this site carries our affiliate tag. When you click through and buy a Level 2 charger, a portable power station, a set of floor mats, or anything else in your cart within Amazon's attribution window, Amazon pays us a percentage of the sale. You pay the same price you'd pay without us. This is how Joltova is funded — readers buying through our links, not brands paying us to place their products.
Commission rates vary by category (roughly 1–4% on Amazon) and change without notice. Whether you buy a product we recommended or something else entirely, we earn the same commission if you use our link.
How this affects our recommendations
It doesn't. Our ranking criteria (verified owner data, durability patterns, thermal behavior, specs against price) are applied before affiliate revenue is considered. We regularly recommend budget products over premium ones — even though the premium ones pay us more — because they're the better fit for most drivers.
If a product we currently recommend drops in quality — a firmware regression, a connector recall, a pattern of thermal shutdowns — we remove it from our picks, even when it's been earning well for us.
Other affiliate programs
Most of our links point to Amazon, but we may occasionally use other retailer affiliate programs (brand-direct stores, specialty EV retailers, solar and power distributors) when a product isn't available or competitively priced on Amazon. The same editorial rules apply: picks are made before commission is counted.
